This is a 5 lesson French unit for beginners, perfect for using with KS2. It teaches children about France and French speaking regions. The lessons are: Lesson 1 - French Countryside - The children learn the vocabulary for places in the countryside in French e.g. lavender fields, rivers and mountains. Lesson 2 - Regions of France - The children learn the vocabulary to describe different regions of France e.g. In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, there are mountains. The lesson teaches children sentences to describe seven different regions. Lesson 3 - French Speaking Countries - The children learn the vocabulary to describe the landscape in different French speaking countries e.g. In Guadeloupe there are beaches.
